Dearest Mataji:
I thought it important you know the big impact you made on these
folks.
None of them, other than me, have connections with Swami Kriya or
Ananda, or even Yoga practices as we know them as in Patanjali,
although I know we do practice Yoga in the broadest sense of
estabilshing that connection to our inner divinity.
So it was really a first impression and a first exposure to a real
Hindu devotional PUJA. They were most interested specially
because it is beyond doubt that you are such a clear channel of
divinity and your whole way of life is dedicated to God. You do
"walk your talk" and that is what makes your teachings so powerful.
I know I am blessed beyond comprehension to know you, to be able to
write to you, and to have your books as one more way to bring
light into my life.
All love surround you, Laura/Krishnapriya
Dear Laura,
Thank you so much for inviting Mataji to our center. I sincerely
hope she had a great time and enjoyed meeting our group. It was such a
treat to meet someone from another culture and share her joyous energy.
I wanted to share my experience with you because it was so much fun:
During the service I found myself becoming a little bored and wondering
when Mataji was going to be through with her prayers to the
"gods". In my head my spirit guide Mah appeared and said:
"Remember all those years you dragged me off to Catholic church and I
had to listen to an entire service in Latin and then say a whole
rosary? This is exactly how it felt to me as a man from
India. I felt it was a Christian puja."
Of course I had to chuckle and agree that Mah was correct. Every
Sunday in the Catholic church we spent an hour honoring all the aspects
of God (The father, son and holy ghost) with bell ringing, chanting and
prayer.
So, if you noticed me grinning during the puja - it was when I settled
back, enjoyed the day and the rhythm of the chanting. At that
point I could see Mah dancing and twirling in the middle of the
circle. He was wearing an all white outfit that swirled at the
bottom and he gave off loads of lavender and purple light. He
would also change form to coincide with the gods and goddesses being
mentioned. His Ganesh, Krishna and Kali were amazing! He was so
happy! This was his "church".
After the service was over I mentioned this amazing appearance to some
of the folks staying for the workshop. They had all seen swirling
lights in the middle of the circle! And, the majority of them had
seen the same colors that Mah was throwing around the room!
Thank you again for welcoming a lovely lady, a special service, and
serving a fantastic.
Love and Light,
Rev. Doti
